All Levels Wheel Throwing
Adult Wheel-Throwing Class for Beginner to Advanced Students
Sundays 10a-1pm |August 2-30
$350
This 5-session course will cover beginner and intermediate wheel throwing techniques. Each class is catered to the student's needs. The basic pottery process will be covered; starting with clay prep, through to glazing a finished piece. Students will practice throwing techniques for various shapes and sizes, along with several decorating techniques. They will leave with new skills and possibly some finished pieces of pottery!
Alex’ hope is for students to learn how to persevere through the tough time most people have in the beginning stages of falling in love with clay. Students will learn the foundation of working on the wheel and will be able to take what they learn to continue their journey.
All materials and tools are included.
In addition to 24 hours of class time, students are eligible for 8 hours of solo work time to use during designated, monitored studio open hours to continue building their skills and to make progress on their class projects.
Please note that there are no make up classes, but each student will be eligible for independent study after their second class.
